I have been talking to someone for about 6 weeks now, and already I feel like I am in love with her. Already I have thoughts of spending the rest of my life with her and the problem is I don’t even know if she feels the same way about me. So nine year old Willow Smith, daughter of megastars Will & Jada Smith will be realeasing her debut album soon.  Recently her new single “Whip My Hair” has been released and has been receiving rave reviews and comparisons to Pop music’s superstar Rihanna.  The album has yet to be titled, but it has been confirmed that Willow has signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label.  Will & Jada recently spoke on deciding the proper label for their daughter.

“After meeting with several record companies, it was clear that JAY-Z, Ty Ty, Jay Brown and the Roc Nation staff was the unquestionable choice. Their passion for Willow combined with their boundless vision and artistic integrity made Roc Nation the perfect home for our little girl.”

Durand Robinson, Atlanta Black Gay Pride co-organizer and co-owner of the infamous Traxx nightclub, was shot in the chest and killed in Southwest Atlanta in the early morning hours on Wednesday (August 25th). The incident took place on Hadlock street around 1:30 a.m. One resident told police they “heard an argument, then gunshots with an unknown vehicle speeding off.”

Robinson had left a meeting with fellow Traxx board members held in Midtown about an hour before the shooting. Neither the meeting nor Robinson’s home was anywhere near where the shooting took place.

Well,well, well here we go again with another segment of Style Sizzle or Fizzle. Now it turned out all the ladies featured were caramel complected, hence the title. Moving on to the style,  I usually never pay much attention to the likes of Lala, Mel B, or The Simmons Sister’s style and after this post I will most likely go back to doing the same.  But for some reason these ladies caught my eye; let’s see if they catch yours with their style choices. The “Queen of Hip-Hop Soul” Mary J. Blige is back in the studio!  The nine time Grammy award-winning singer is working with super-producer Swizz Beatz and is promising fans yet another classic album.

If you haven’t heard by now, singer/songwriter Faith Evans was arrested August 21^st in the Los Angeles area for a DUI conviction.  Faith was quickly released on bail and posted a statement about the incident to her fans on Twitter.

Hi Faithfuls…I am on the set of my new video for my single “Gone Already”. I’m sure by now most of you heard that I was detained on suspicion of DUI. After completing a full day of wardrobe prep I was stopped at a random checkpoint. I’m fine and well, and thank you for your prayers, kind words and concerns.
